Shape it, fill it, learn! ✨
Our Grasshopper children explores different 2D shapes while filling colourful shape outlines, building shape recognition, fine motor skills and early mathematical thinking through hands-on play.

Today our Bumblebee friends enjoyed a fun ball painting experience as we explored the colour blue! 💙

The children used blue paint and balls to create their own unique artwork, enjoying rolling, stamping and making different patterns. It was a wonderful opportunity to get creative, have fun together and strengthen fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

🌷 Happy Educator Day! 🌷

Today was filled with love, appreciation and special moments! 💕

Our wonderful educators enjoyed a delicious lunch, home-grown loquats and thoughtful gifts from our owner. 🎁🍊

The children also created beautiful flowers for their educators, while our lovely families shared heartfelt messages and warm wishes. 🌸💌

A big thank you to everyone who helped make our educators feel so special today. ❤️

📚✨ Book Week ✨📚

What a wonderful week of stories, imagination and hands-on learning! 💛

This week, we explored:
🐛 The Very Hungry Caterpillar
🐻 We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
🐷 The Three Little Pigs

Our children brought the stories to life through growing caterpillars, creating their own caterpillar books, sensory play, storytelling, building pig houses and making paper plate pigs! 🌱📖🏠🎨

We also loved seeing the children dress up as their favourite book characters, bring books from home and share stories together. 📚✨

At Kindastar, every story is an opportunity to explore, create, imagine and learn. ❤️

🌏💚 Big ideas start with little hands making a difference!

Our Preschool Room kicked off Sustainability Week with an important question: "How can we help save our Earth?" 🌱 From there, the children embarked on a week of discovery, exploring how everyday choices can have a positive impact on our environment.

Through hands-on recycling investigations, the children sorted and classified materials, discussed what can be reused, and discovered why recycling is so important for protecting our planet. They then rolled up their sleeves to create their very own seed bombs, learning that even the smallest action—planting a flower—can help support bees, butterflies, and our local environment. 🌼🐝

These meaningful experiences nurtured environmental responsibility while strengthening critical thinking, problem-solving, scientific inquiry, and fine motor skills. Most importantly, the children began to see themselves as capable caretakers of the world around them, discovering that they each have the power to make a difference.

🐉 A colourful celebration to end our journey through China! ❤️✨

This month, our Grasshopper Room has been exploring the rich culture, traditions, and celebrations of China through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. To wrap up our focus country, the children worked together to create their very own dragon head before bringing it to life in an exciting cultural dragon dance! 🐲🎉

As they painted, crafted, marched, and danced together, the children strengthened their creativity, fine and gross motor skills, teamwork, confidence, and coordination. More importantly, they developed an appreciation for different cultures while experiencing the joy of learning through movement, music, and collaborative play.

At Innovative Early Learning, we believe that introducing children to cultures from around the world helps nurture kindness, curiosity, and respect for diversity from an early age. Watching our little learners proudly parade their dragon and celebrate together was a wonderful reminder that meaningful learning is always filled with fun, connection, and discovery. 🌏❤️

After becoming fascinated by the Olympics through Happy Feet, our little learners have been eager to discover what the Olympic Games are all about. This week, they explored the exciting world of the Olympics through creative art experiences, loose parts play, and hands-on invitations that encouraged them to think, create, and ask questions. 🎨🌍

As the children painted Olympic-inspired artwork and designed their own torches using recycled materials, they developed fine motor skills, creativity, problem-solving, and an understanding of teamwork, perseverance, and celebrating people from around the world. These meaningful experiences helped transform their interests into rich learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and global awareness. ✨

The children immersed themselves in Japanese culture through hands-on experiences, exploring traditional foods, learning about local artists, creating cultural artworks, and discovering the beauty of Japan’s traditions and way of life. 🍣🎎🎨🌸
