Words of wisdom on the big stage! 🎙️✨

Six of our dedicated students proudly represented the College at Parramatta Marist High School for the annual Marist Oratory competition, delivering speeches with incredible clarity, confidence, and passion.

Special applause goes to Bailey in Year 7, who took home 1st place in the Year 7 division! His presentation on the topic “Monkey see, Monkey do” offered a fresh, insightful perspective on navigating the world as a young man. An outstanding achievement!

Making a difference beyond the classroom! 🌟

Six of our Year 12 students represented the school at the first annual Volunteering Expo, hosted by St Joseph’s College, Hunters Hill.

The evening kicked off with Mass and a shared dinner alongside peers from schools across Sydney, followed by an inspiring showcase of charitable organisations. Our students had the chance to explore meaningful ways to give back as they step into adulthood, connecting with incredible groups like Orange Sky, Marist 180, Lifeline, and Vinnies.

We couldn’t be prouder of their commitment to service and community! 🤝✨

⛩️ A Day of Culture, Creativity & Connection! 🐉

Our Year 8 representatives and Ms Li had a wonderful time at the Chinese Garden of Friendship on Sunday, invited by the HSK Centre—the organizers of the Chinese Bridge Competition!

Our Chinese language learners were treated to spectacular live performances, including classical dance, lion dancing, and a traditional tea ceremony. They also jumped into hands-on cultural workshops—trying their skills at martial arts, blue-and-white porcelain painting, paper folding, and calligraphy.

It was a fantastic, memorable day of hands-on learning, creative expression, and plenty of smiles! ✨

🌱 From garden to table! 🥕

Our Regents Park students harvested fresh produce from the College community garden before putting it to good use in their cooking lesson. A great hands-on experience connecting gardening, sustainability and food preparation. 👩‍🌾👨‍🍳

📚 Business Studies HSC Preparation

Our Business Studies students took part in a focused HSC preparation supported by our business studies teachers with guest speaker Kristy Partridge from Sydney Catholic Schools.

Students gained insight into the HSC marking process, reviewed Trial HSC data and participated in workshops covering multiple choice, short answer and essay writing.

A valuable day of preparation as our students continue to build their confidence and exam skills. 📖

Our Regents Park Campus came alive for our annual Book Week Dress-Up Day, celebrating this year’s theme, Symphony of Stories. From beloved characters to creative interpretations, our students brought the pages of their favourite books to life.

This year’s celebration was our biggest yet, with plenty of imagination, colour and a shared love of reading on display. What a way to celebrate the stories that inspire us! 📖
