Bella Babes is a family run business, run by us, Nicole and Frazer Upfold, and we think that’s important because, after all, childcare is all about family – your family. Our child care centres, Sydney have been in operation since 1991, giving us more than 20 years experience in creating a lovely and unique home away from home environment that’s both fun and educational for your child. Choosing daycare in Sydney is a huge decision – we certainly understand that. You need to know your children are in a happy, safe and enriching environment that they enjoy attending. We provide just that and you just need to look at the smiling faces at our centres to confirm it. We have two child care centres in Sydney – Artarmon and Lane Cove– that all provide the same very high standard of care for your treasured little one. If you’re on the hunt for care in Sydney then we may be just what you’ve been searching for. At each of our centres, our professional staff are committed to the same ideals. We believe that children are individuals and should be treated as such, and we encourage them to make choices and have their voice heard. We respect each other, the children, our community and the environment. We consider our staff members to be role models who must develop and reflect on their practices and empower the children in their care every day. Our programs are constantly evolving to introduce new learning and play techniques that keep the children engaged. We create an environment that children feel they belong to and have some sense of ownership of. We also believe that family is the most important thing and we keep a very open line of communication with all of our parents. We also welcome and provide opportunities for the involvement of parents in our centres at whatever level you feel comfortable with.

At Bela Babes, we believe in nurturing children’s sense of community, respect, and belonging — values at the heart of the Early Years Learning Framework 🌏

We’re incredibly proud of our children, families, and educators who came together to support the RSL Engadine donation drive for our ANZAC service men and women ❤️

Through this experience, children participated in a meaningful community initiative, building empathy, gratitude, and an understanding of giving back. These are key elements of EYLF Learning Outcomes 2 and 3 — supporting children to feel connected to their world and develop a strong sense of wellbeing.

In the lead-up to ANZAC Day, these donations will help create care packages for Australians deployed overseas — a powerful way for children to learn about respect, remembrance, and community spirit.

A special thank you to our local supporters — Zucchero, Latin Fruit Market, and The Thai — for your generosity and for modelling community spirit 🙏

And to our families, thank you for your continued support. Together, we are raising kind, respectful, and socially aware little citizens.
