Happy International Day of Play!
At Children First, we know that play is so much more than just fun - it’s the heart of how children learn, grow, and connect. Our philosophy is built on the belief that play sparks curiosity, nurtures creativity, and supports every child’s development in meaningful ways.

In our learning spaces, it’s the quiet moments with a book and a caring educator that help children feel safe, seen, and inspired. 📖💛

🖤💛❤️ This week is National Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June,2026)
This National Reconciliation Week, we’re going All In.
All In is a call for every one of us to actively commit to reconciliation - not just during this week, but every day. It reminds us that reconciliation isn’t something we watch from the sidelines. It requires action, learning, listening, and respect from all Australians, young and old.
Reconciliation is not the sole responsibility of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It’s a shared journey - one that won’t move forward unless we all play our part.
By being All In, we help create a future built on understanding, truth, and meaningful change.

Learning happens when children are challenged.
Safe, supervised risky play - climbing, balancing, and exploring uneven surfaces - helps children build confidence, strengthen problem‑solving skills, and learn how to assess risk safely.
