Footy kicked off again last weekend, but it’s hard not to think about AFL State of Origin a few weeks back.
For a lot of fans, it brought back memories of the old interstate rivalries, the Big V (Victoria), the Sandgropers (Western Australia), and teammates suddenly becoming opponents.
The nostalgia is already there. What makes it work now is bringing it back with enough freshness and intent that it connects with people again.

Colourgrind was developed as a multidisciplinary art exhibition in Adelaide, South Australia, supporting The Royal Society for the Blind.
The identity took influence from marbling, using layered colour and motion as the foundation for a visual system that feels expressive and cohesive across signage, print, and digital.
Delivered across strategy, identity, content and collateral, the system was built to support a broad mix of artists and mediums, while keeping the work itself front and centre.
