Leashes and pfd are required.

It's going to be a great morning at Balmoral tomorrow! We have a few options for the course. We may have a little west wind, but we will be protected along the coast line. We will head up to Fisher bay, and may or may not Include a start over to cobblers first. 7 or 8 km and will decide in the morning. The short course will just go to Chinamans and back, about 3.5-4km.

The first SUPx of the season is not until October, but don't wait until then. Join us at Narrabeen for SPSC's first flatwater event of the season THIS SUNDAY! The event is for all levels, and there is a juniors course too!

If you haven't done pursuit style before, it works like this. There are 2 laps of 4km. First lap everyone starts off together, then there is a short break. 2nd lap is a handicapped started, so those that finished last, start first. This gives everyone a chance to get a better result than they might otherwise get.- Sunday looks like being a cracker sunny day!

If you want to do a short course, just do the first lap. Everyone welcome and a great way to get into SUP race. Be warned, its addictive!

SPSC and WSS are bringing SUP-x Racing back to Balmoral, with thanks to the Balmoral Sailing Club. Here is the full club calendar. Notice SUP-X at South Balmoral Beach on october 23 and November 20!

We have a massive season ahead for SPSC Club races!

This year, we aim to have at least one club race per month, and here are the dates! Mark them in your calendar!

During October - November will be the SPSC Akuna Bay 5k Challenge. Paddle as many 5ks as you can during those months to get your PB, and submit your times to the leaderboard. If you can't get to Akuna Bay, you can submit a 5k time from your local waterway (2.5k out turn and 2.5k back, no drafting, no breaks). For those that can make it to Akuna Bay, we plan to get a group each Sunday morning (when other events are not on) to post a time together)

Its a sad day in our community when something as devestitang as a fire occurs. We can make that day better by coming together to help those that needs us. This week we can help out Sam Williams and Jamieson Park Paddle. JPP Is an SPSC Sponsor and is very special to our club. Recent years have been difficult for all small businesses, and we are all extremely saddened by what has occurred. SPSC has collected an enourmous amount of very generous donations of prizes for a fundraiser raffle.

The raffle will be drawn Sunday Dec 5 after our club races (at the caravan parking lot, not JPP) 100% of proceeds going to JPP.
