We're looking for incredible Macquarie University students willing to become a Mentor and make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged young people. Mentors will be teaching high school students how to write a resume, sit job interviews, apply for university and more!

"Mentoring for ILP was one of the most amazing experiences. It's rare, especially for university students to create value and actually influence the future; and that is exactly what the ILP mentoring experience does!

Getting to share a journey with disadvantaged youth is just as benefiting for them as it is for you as a mentor. It is a unique experience sharing the things you've learnt in your personal walk of life with someone else and actively seeing that manifest in not only the growth of another but also the change in their conceptions and direction.

Honestly, I believe I've learnt a lot more from the mentoring than the students did. So often we tell ourselves what we should be doing, but it isn't until we guide another that we realise how desperately we needed the exact same advice"
