Play doesn’t have to be expensive, check out this super simple small world play box I set up this week for the day care children.

The children had a wonderful time creating a habitat, exploring and pairing animals, making animal sounds and engaging in dramatic play

This box was set up using bits and pieces I had at home however you can use any box/ container. Felt pieces are around $1-1.50 a sheet, Kmart sell animals and dinosaurs for about $8 a tube and rocks and twigs from the garden are perfect for small world play and are free
