This week at TKC we have Frozen Golden Milk Lattes. Healing spices, mango and our star ingredient, turmeric come together to make these Golden Milk Lattes a nourishing and refreshing addition to lunch this week ($1.50).

So what’s all the fuss about turmeric? Well, we’re glad you asked!

Turmeric is a true superfood…the high antioxidant and anti-bacterial content means it is great for helping to reduce the symptoms of cold and flu. It also helps the body adapt to stressors like environmental toxins and inflammatory foods.

But wait! There’s more!
• Turmeric is rich in manganese, zinc, B group vitamins and iron, which help support a healthy metabolism.
• Promotes memory and brain function
• Anti-carcinogenic
• Helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels
• Promotes digestive health
• Liver detoxifier
• Aids in management of asthma, eczema and inflammatory bowel disease
• Assists various skin conditions

Refreshing, healing and utterly delicious, Frozen Golden Milk Lattes are the perfect blend of ingredients to boost immunity and keep our kids thriving!

And don’t forget that we have organic popcorn available everyday on the counter. Our popcorn is popped in coconut oil, a true “superfood” and a phenomenal fat that nourishes the brain and heals the body.

The canteen is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.

Hello Thrivers! A big, warm welcome to Term 1, 2018!

This year, once again we strive to bring you the most nourishing recipes, using fresh, organic wholefoods to fuel our precious children! We welcome your feedback as we embark on the 2018 school year together to ensure our kids can be their very best.

This week at TKC, we have a raft of summer specials that are sure to delight!

At TKC, we are big advocates of ‘Eating the Rainbow’ (no Skittles here) – that means, eating a wide range of fruits and vegetables of all different colours. You see, the vivid, bright colour of a fruit or veg actually tells us a lot about their ‘super powers’ ie their unique phytonutrients that help fight disease and keep us strong. And this week we are focusing on one of our favourites…the power of GREEN. Green veggies are packed with Vitamins A, C, E, and K. Greens also provide us with a rich source of Calcium, Beta Carotene and B complex vitamins.

So, how do we get our kids eating more greens? Add them to a zip pop of course! This week at TKC we have ‘Green Power Pops’ – full of delicious summer fruits including pineapple, cocnut and the super power ingredient…kale! Delicious and nutritious! Only $2 while stocks last.

Also on the menu this week we have chocolate dipped frozen bananas $1.50 and sorbet flavours including raspberry, pineapple and mango $1.50.

Stay cool thrivers!
