This worker got a shock when he went to get his gloves in the lunchroom after lunch today, to find this red bellied black snake had made its way inside, and hid behind them. Lucky it didn’t hide in them 😬🐍
Also, a pic as he goes back in the wild where he belongs👍

Nice local Red bellied black snake today.
Lucky our local Yarrawarrah shops have us on speed dial.
This one was first sighted at the back of the bakery, and quickly ducked into the convenience store storage room next door to hide, which is where I found it.🐍👍

Here’s a fun interview myself and legend snake catcher and good mate Tony Harrison did recently with Brendi Winter. Caution slight language warning, as the interview was called beers in the tent, and it was very casual., but also talked about catching in a serious light. Enjoy

Here’s a pic of a snake we had to relocate in the morning.
And yes, that is a lot of live electricity in that place. ⚡️
Can you spot it easily?🐍
If not? I’ll put a closer pic in comments later.

This Red bellied black snake from Heathcote today, was affectionately called Benny by the homeowners.
But as lovely as he was, he got his marching orders from their garden.
Pics are his favourite basking spot, outside his secure hideout in the rocks, and a pic of him saying goodbye to me on release🐍😊

Just a reminder to everyone that having netting around the yard is dangerous to wildlife.
Luckily we were called to help this red bellied black snake that got itself in a mess, tangled up tonight.
Nathan and I got to work, first cutting it from the main netting, then moved on out of the rain to the homeowners garage to remove the rest of netting.
As you can see, there is damaged scuffed up constricted scales, but fortunately there was no actual serious injury or cuts into the skin.
And should make a full recovery very quickly for a release.
