Mount Zion Early Learning Centre

At Mount Zion we grow variety of fruit on our trees. We teach the children about nature and the environment and taking care of our earth. They help water the plants and tend to our worm farm too. Today we picked some ripe oranges 🍊 and limes 🍋‍🟩 together. The children then used their senses to smell and taste them.

We have extended our bursary program to offer a bursary to children going from Mount Zion to Moriah and Mount Sinai. Contact Mount Zion for more details .

Offering the children practical experiences into everyday to foster a variety of skills. A few families are having or have had babies recently so a great activity to make connections to home too. The children were very engaged in this baby bathing activity.

Today was school uniform day for the Prachim class. Ashne, our director, presented each child with a special gift. They also performed some songs for us all. Good luck to them lol next year. We will miss them but always welcome to come visit us .

So in awe of these two legends I decided to join them and volunteer for a day at Camp Sababa,supporting our community. I was so proud to see so many past Mount Zion students volunteering their time for this amazing organization .

We celebrated Sukkot by involving the children in the mitzvah of shaking the lulav and etrog as well as eating in the sukkah
