Our MUD kitchen encourages creativity and imagination. The children invent recipes, role-play, and create stories around their play. It also boosts problem solving skills, such as; figuring out how to mix, pour, measure, and create things.
It is also vital for sensory exploration, as it stimulates their senses by touching the mud, water, leaves, and sand. This offers rich tactile experiences. Sensory play is calming and grounding for children.

Each day during lunch time in the pre-school room, two of our lovely children volunteer to serve their peers lunch. This helps the children bond, learn how to be kind to one another, and help them feel fulfilled in completing tasks 🥙
