Decisions, decisions.
With too much information at our fingertips, take time to:
-count the cost
-consider the outcomes
-look at your long term vision
-ask Father God, whether or not this is part of His plan for you.

Focus!
There are many distractions vying for our attention. Staying focused helps us stay on track and make the most of our time, resources and our relationships.
Focus on what you are called to do, use your gifts and abilities and keep to the vision.
Is this time to review, or even write down what your vision is?

What a wonderful time for our high school students to reflect on:
"Who am I? What is my vision? What have I learnt and achieved?"
In order to move forward, they need to evaluate how far they have come.

I recently read a number of articles on INTEGRITY. It is surprising how much confusion there is about this, in terms of Integrity being concerned only with reputation-an external appearance.
True integrity is a quality of character-an inward reality that refers to singleness of heart or mind, the development of a blameless character by adhering to an exemplary moral code.
We can change our 'mind-set' towards making 'right' decisions, which will affect our emotions in a healthy way.
Living as a 'right-living' example we have a sphere of influence which will silence critics and allow us to walk with peace of mind.
Doing this day by day, making thoughtful decisions, is surely going to clear the way ahead.

'IDENTITY' in one dictionary has 6 definitions related to a person.
One states: The personality of an individual regarded as a persisting entity.
Let me ask two questions:
1. Where do we get our personality?
2. If it is a 'persisting entity' how do we see constant change, resulting in personal growth?
Look at your family background, upbringing, culture, life experiences, disappointments, hopes and dreams, our relationship to our siblings, our gifts, talents and abilities.
What was expected of you when you were younger?
Don't be afraid to dig a little deeper and write a list of answers to some of these questions.
Then allow the One who created you in His image and likeness to show you His perspective on your identity.

What are our Critical-Thinking skills like? Can we as adults think broadly and deeply and are we teaching our children to do the same?
These learning skills are part of the national curriculum of our schools, yet how many use these skills in day-to-day-life, when we Google information or look at social media, listen to people's opinions, or assess our own life experiences?
One of the aspects of Critical-Thinking is 'Challenging taken-for-granted assumptions.
Let's do that with boldness and not letting go till we have reached a conclusion.

Are we REALLY listening? How is this younger generation listening?
1. Be intentional about listening-that means we hear with the intention to do something about it. Like...obey!
2. Look at the person who is speaking.
3. Take time to hear them out and listen.
4. Don't allow yourself to be distracted.
Hearing is more than head phones, ear pods and the like.
