WHERE WERE THE CONVERSATIONS ABOUT PLEASURE?
-BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 28th-
Years and years of hiding this away, something rarely spoken about yet something the large majority of us do..
I had the honour of sitting with a group of men yesterday willing to drop deeply into a conversation around s*x and s*xuality. It was inspiring, the eagerness to share and be heard around challenges, realisations and curiosities was stunning!
Something that came to me was my own recurring feeling around being alone in this subject..
“Why didn’t anyone talk to me about this??”
“I had to learn everything I know from porn!”
Sentences that continue to sit with me..
Ma********on, s*x, pleasure have always felt like taboo subjects, something that brought about red faces (not in the fun way) followed by uncomfortable coughs and redirections
What we have learnt from running this course a number of times now is that there is so much to be said..SO MUCH..more than there is time for! This is just the beginning..
So my question is..
