The children had a spooky yoga session, thanks to Satoko and Lulu for volunteering their time. They introduced breathing exercises and balancing postures.

Yoga teaches kids not only to stretch and breathe but also self-regulation through visualization, like imagining themselves as a tree or a balloon.

A big thank you to Satoko for her time! The children and Magda are also learning some Japanese greetings to share with Satoko and Lulu.

Our Inner West manager recently visited Reggio Emilia program in Italy and brought back inspiring ideas for us as educators. Each educator interprets these concepts in their own way.

For me, the free art craft atelier really resonates, emphasizing exploration through art.

In a Reggio Emilia school, the atelier encourages experimentation, intuition, and spontaneous creativity. The diverse materials available foster free expression and allow children to invent, create, and explore their identities through artistic endeavors.

This approach not only nurtures their creativity but also supports their overall development.
