We Are All Artists

Y'all. My patience for painting warhammer minis is about as limited as my ability (very limited) BUT - I've been helping the Man paint his army and have made a new stickersheet based on his Autumn themed woodelf army. The artists who model these things are so amazing and I admire the persistence of mini painting masters (shout out to who's painted some of the most fierce parts of the army) but I think I'll stick with my illustrations and as always - turning all of the things into stickers. They're available in this month's Goodie Guild for the Goodie Goblins who've signed up.

It's been a hot minute, I've done a whole bunch of stuff, but not much painting on account of this is my right arm. Had surgery in May to fix a bone that was too long and was causing big issues for my wrist. Wrist movement is still limited, but the bone is mending and hopefully I'll be back soon. :)

I'm moving house in April and have discovered drawers and folders full of hidden art that I'd forgotten existed. It's wild how important I thought it was that I make all these things and then just put them away to forget about.

Sad life. Time to retire my favourite (thankfully very cheap) brush.

If this painting looks familiar, that's because it is. I've painted this scene 3 times already in different media - this is the 4th. Iteration has become a big part of my painting process, and while I'm afraid I'm more frustrated with this version than in love with it, it's still been a worthwhile process.

Finished this a while ago. Realised I didn't share it. I'm in the ugly middle of a few other things but life's been life-ing and I've been busy. I hope you're well :)

This is where I've been lately. Covered in paint and rediscovering my purpose. It's a terrible photo but its been a good time. So much work still to do.
