Youthworks’ vision is to see an effective youth and children’s ministry in every church. On campus and online courses available.

Youthworks College provides specialty training, both online and onsite, for those who serve in churches and schools working with children, youth and families to raise disciples. Youthworks College helps achieve this vision by raising up the next generation of church leaders through specialist training for youth and children’s ministry. As an Affiliated College of the Australian College of Theology, Youthworks College is approved to deliver courses in ministry and theology. Youthworks College also provides a pathway for schools and churches to raise up more Christians for the teaching profession. Centre for Christian Education is dedicated to deepening the gospel expertise of Christian teachers for future or current teachers. Check out more here:

Join us for the Disability & Neurodiversity Symposium: Partnering Well. It's an evening of listening, learning and practical partnership for families of children with disability or neurodivergent children, ministry leaders and those in Christian education.

Dr Louise Gosbell and Kate Morris will facilitate, with speakers including Bec Baines, Elliot Ku and Dave Whittingham. Many of our presenters bring lived experience to the conversation, and all of them care deeply about helping families and churches walk this road together.

Youthworks College is privileged to host Perish Ntikitila this week, an Anglican youth minister and lecturer at Harare Theological College in Zimbabwe.

Perish's connection with Youthworks began last year, when College Principal Mike Dicker travelled to Harare and shared more about the wonderful work being done here. This week, Perish returned the visit, spending time experiencing Youthworks College. Next week he will continue to enjoy the breadth of Youthworks' ministries, including LIT (Leaders in Training).

It's a good reminder that the work of raising up young leaders for the church spans borders, and that there's much to learn from ministry partners around the world.

Please continue to pray for the youth and children of Zimbabwe, and the equipping of those who faithfully continue to share the gospel with them.

Two years ago, our CEO Craig Roberts had the privilege of meeting Archbishop Vincente Masosa at a GAFCON conference in Plano, Texas. Across the last year, Youthworks College Principal Mike Dicker has been training key youth leaders across the Anglican Church in Mozambique and Angola, in the hope and expectation that they'll go on to train others too.

Today Archbishop Vincente visited College and shared that since 2017, churches across Mozambique and Angola have multiplied through a concerted effort in church planting. With 60% of the population and their churches under the age of 25, there's real urgency to equip pastors and leaders who can disciple children and young people well in the gospel.

This week, we're praying alongside him:
🙏 For a youth conference happening in Angola
🙏 For those affected by ongoing Islamic terrorist attacks near Mozambique's northern borders, where people are being killed
🙏 For Archbishop Vincente himself, the youngest primate in the Anglican Communion, that he would serve in his role to the glory of the Lord

A rich week at Youthworks College. Open Day gave prospective students a real look at life on campus, and this week's chapel featured Stu Jansen, Youth Minister at St Matthews Anglican Manly sharing Psalm 130.

Stu also reflected on his own formation here: learning that engaged both the mind and the hands, theory tested in the practice of ministry.

It's a reminder of what we hope every student walks away with.
