Today we enjoyed being part of the Christian Providers Event at Cedars Christian College, speaking with senior students about career and study options for ministry to children and young people, and pathways into teaching.

We are thankful for the opportunity to share about the different pathways available through Youthworks College and the Centre for Christian Education.

Are you considering a degree in education, or currently a teacher? Join us this Saturday, 23 May (10–11am) at Youthworks College, Newtown, for our Centre for Christian Education Info Day to find out more.

✨ Meet Chloe - a recent CCE graduate! 🎓
Chloe came to the Centre for Christian Education course as a teacher's aide, unsure of her next step. Here's what she discovered:
💬 "I really wanted to learn from the Bible as well as learn about Christian teaching and what that means - and it's been really helpful."
💬 "It's helped me think through what it means to teach students about Jesus, but also about the world around them with a lens of Jesus. Who are they? Who has God created them to be? How can we grow them up to know Jesus?"
💬 "Being enveloped in such a beautiful community of people who love Jesus and want to learn about the Bible and discuss it with one another was super rich."

The CCE course is a one-year Diploma of Theology through Youthworks College - designed for educators who want to thoughtfully integrate faith into their teaching practice in a school context.

Last week we celebrated these wonderful graduates from Youthworks College. 🎓

Each student completed our one-year Diploma of Theology through the Centre for Christian Education (CCE), while also serving in schools through learning support and chaplaincy roles throughout the year.

It has been a joy to see them grow in wisdom, theological depth, character, and practical experience as they learned to thoughtfully integrate theology and practice within a school context.

If you’re considering teaching, chaplaincy, or ministry in schools — or if you’re already teaching and want to deepen your theological understanding and explore what it means to teach Christianly — we’d love to invite you to our upcoming Centre for Christian Education Information Session.
