Say hello to our newest friends!

Our little learners were so happy and excited to meet our new pet birds, who will now be part of our family.

Along with the fun and excitement, we talked about the importance of caring for animals. From feeding them properly to making sure they feel safe and cared for.

As we continue learning about animals this month, having our own pet makes learning even more meaningful and special.

🍦Ice Cream Shop is Now Open!🍦

The children had so much fun playing with our pretend store this week that we decided to create a fun little Ice Cream Shop!

The children worked hard on their sharing and communication skills by talking with one another to place their ice cream orders.

While having so much fun at our ice cream shop, we noticed how many important skills we were practicing!

-We practiced using our kind words and polite manners to order and serve ice cream.

-We used our counting and number recognition skills to pay for our treats.

-We explored colors while choosing different flavors and sprinkles.

Our Book Week celebrations are off to a wonderful start! Today, the children came dressed as their favourite book characters, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere across our learning community.

It was wonderful to see the children’s creativity and enthusiasm as they celebrated the books and characters they love. A fantastic beginning to a week dedicated to fostering a love of reading and storytelling.

🚒Fire Safety, Community Connections & Meaningful Learning 🚒

We recently had the privilege of welcoming our local fire brigade.The children engaged in an interactive discussion about fire safety, learning important emergency messages including **Stop, Drop, Cover & Roll** and **Get Out & Stay Out**. Through demonstrations and conversations, the firefighters helped the children develop a greater understanding of how to respond safely in an emergency.
