It is with great sadness that Al Zahra College announces the passing of our beloved Chairman, Hajj Maher Makki. He was the backbone of our college, a visionary leader whose dedication and love for education and faith shaped our community.
Words do not do justice in describing the kind of man Haj Maher was. He was a man who always strived to improve the lives of those around him and left a positive impression on anyone that had the privilege of meeting him. He was a true believer who placed the pleasure of Allah SWT above all else.
We express our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones, and pray that Allah (SWT) grants them patience and strength during this difficult time.
Hajj Maher will be deeply missed, but his legacy of service will continue to inspire us.
اللهم اغفر له وارحمه وأسكنه فسيح جناتك
Please recite Al-Fatiha on his departed soul and remember him in your prayers.
"Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return."

We are all deeply saddened as we witness with heavy hearts the ongoing violence and aggression against Lebanese civilians, their mass displacement from their homes, and their lack of access to basic human resources.
By the grace of Allah SWT, and through the generosity of our people abroad, charity groups such as The Wish Foundation, One Hand One Heart, Sadr Foundation Australia, 14 Stars Children Foundation, and Imam Hasan Centre, amongst other groups, have been working tirelessly to provide relief through offering temporary housing, food supplies, and essential medical care to those affected. But we urgently need your help to continue this vital work.
Your donations will directly support displaced families with food, groceries, medication, and other daily necessities. The funds will be allocated to where they are needed most.
