Our children have been enjoying a fun and engaging group time experience with our current favourite, Mr Clicketty!

Through singing, actions and plenty of clapping, the children are developing their listening skills, coordination, confidence and sense of belonging within the group. It always wonderful to see them eagerly joining in, remembering the actions and encouraging their friends to participate.

Music and movement continue to be a much-loved part of the day, bringing lots of smiles, laughter and connection.

We love to build on the children’s ongoing interests, our Minis had so much fun exploring different creatures and discovering the sounds they make together today!

Through guessing, listening and imitating animal sounds, the children were strengthening their language and communication skills, developing listening and memory skills, and engaging in early social collaboration as they worked together, shared ideas and learnt alongside one another.

Every climb, conversation, question and curious little moment helps shape a child’s learning journey!

Through play-based experiences, nurturing relationships and environments designed for exploration, children aged 0–6 are supported to build confidence, independence and important school readiness skills every day.

Come and discover the difference for yourself...

Our preschoolers have been exploring vegetables and discovering how they grow!

After learning about the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating, the children sorted vegetables into groups including those that grow on plants, vines and underground. Together we explored vegetables such as pumpkins, cucumbers, broccoli, carrots and potatoes while making connections to gardens, shopping trips and foods we enjoy at home.

The children were especially fascinated watching timelapse videos of pumpkins growing from tiny seeds into sprawling vines producing large pumpkins! We also enjoyed reading The Kids’ Book of Food by Helen Martin, which sparked wonderful conversations about where our food comes from and how it is made.

Through these experiences, the children are building their understanding of healthy eating, sustainability and the journey food takes from farm to table.
