As a Deer｜美學時光

This Palm Beach watercolour was painted by one of my Year 10 students.

When we first painted it together, I had never been to Palm Beach.
Later, inspired by this painting, I made a trip there myself.

Standing by the ocean felt both familiar and beautiful.

These are the moments I love most—
seeing the world through my students’ eyes and discovering new places through art. ✨

有時候，藝術會帶著我們去認識一個從未去過的地方。

這幅 Palm Beach 水彩作品，是我的一位 Year 10 學生所創作的。當時我們一起完成這幅畫時，我還沒有去過 Palm Beach。

後來因為這幅畫，我特地安排了一趟小旅行。

當我真正站在那片海灘上，看著眼前的海岸線和光影時，心裡忍不住想起當初一起畫畫的時光。

原來有些地方，是因為一幅畫而相遇；
有些風景，是透過學生的眼睛先被看見。

我很喜歡這樣的教學旅程。
不只是分享藝術，也在一次次相遇中，發現更多美好的故事。 ✨

Every lesson is an adventure through the world of art, and every artwork is a unique discovery.

🎨 Explorers Art Program (Ages 5–9）

Designed for curious minds and creative young artists, our Explorers Art Program invites children to discover the joy of making art through a wide range of artistic materials and techniques.

Students will explore drawing, coloured pencils, watercolour, oil pastels, clay, and acrylic painting while developing fundamental artistic skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

Each lesson begins with a story. Children will be introduced to inspiring artists from around the world and throughout history, learning about their lives, ideas, and unique artistic styles. From Van Gogh’s vibrant skies and Monet’s beautiful gardens to Picasso’s imaginative creations, young artists will explore how great artists saw the world and find inspiration for their own creative journey.

🎨 Explorers 探索家藝術課程（5–9歲）

專為充滿好奇心與想像力的小藝術家設計！

在 Explorers 課程中，孩子們將透過豐富多元的藝術媒材，展開一場充滿創意的藝術探索之旅。課程涵蓋素描、彩色鉛筆、水彩、油畫棒、黏土及丙烯等不同創作方式，讓孩子在嘗試與探索中建立藝術基礎。

✨ 每週課程更會認識一位藝術家！

我們將從有趣的故事開始，帶領孩子走進藝術家的世界。從梵谷的星空、莫內的花園，到畢卡索的想像力，孩子們將透過故事、觀察與討論，了解藝術家的創作歷程與獨特風格，並從中發展自己的創意與表達能力。

課程著重於：

✨ A new artistic journey is taking shape in Sydney.

After months of preparation, I’m excited to share that from late September, As a Deer Art will be offering more art classes and workshops in Gordon, Sydney North Shore.
In the meantime, I am currently running small-group art classes at Macquarie Park during this preparation phase. Whether you’re looking to explore creativity, develop artistic skills, or simply enjoy the joy of making art, I’d love to hear from you.
