Enjoying Autumn!
The Crocodiles are exploring the wonders of autumn. The lightbox was used to offer a close up view of a collection of brown and yellow leaves, different types of pinecones and gumnuts.

Exploring all the various textures of the sensory tiles, the Koalas walked and crawled over them, feeling all the different types of bumps under their feet and on their hands. Here they are further developing their social skills while using their senses and body movement to explore.

Sand Drawings
Combining sensory exploration with creativity, our Wombat children enjoyed using their fingers through the sand to make their own creations.

Balancing Blocks
Using eye hand coordination and a very steady hand, the Wombats experimented with the balancing people pieces. They cheered each time they successfully placed a new piece on top and then laughed when they would topple over!

Our hand-print art works are almost ready for our upcoming Mother's Day gathering! The Wombats enjoyed pressing their painted hands onto the paper while chatting with their educator about all the things they love about their mum!

Using recycled materials and their extensive creative skills, our wonderful educators made a giant bunny for the children to use as part of their a slot game. They each took turns putting Easter eggs into the bunny's tummy, each with the look of wonder as the egg would disappear!

Volcano Dinosaur
The Crocodiles extended upon an interest in volcanos by filling sensory trays with soil, natural resources and dinosaurs. They enjoyed exploring shaping their own volcanoes using mouldable soil and sticks.

Easel Painting Fun!
Here are our littlest artists in the making! The Koalas explored all the different colours of paint as they used their hands and fingers to create their works of art, explore creative expression and discover sensory awareness.

Using long brushes and a variety of coloured paints, the children enjoyed the outdoors while creating their works of art.
