The holidays are full of memories carried in scent.
This month’s duet: Peppermint 🌿 + Cinnamon 🌟
Peppermint awakens clarity and joy. Cinnamon evokes warmth, tradition, and belonging.
Together they remind us that Christmas is both fresh beginnings and treasured memories.
👉 Ritual idea: breathe in peppermint for focus, then cinnamon for comfort.
Write down one Christmas memory you’re grateful for this year.
Share your memory below—let’s fill this space with stories of joy 🎁

🌿 Welcome to the 🌿
Did you know your sense of smell is wired straight into the brain’s memory and emotion centers?
That means one fragrance can shift your mood, anchor your focus, or unlock gratitude faster than almost anything else.
Over the next year, I’ll be exploring scents as anchors for mindfulness, creativity, and spiritual rhythms—woven with the seasons and sacred Christian holidays.
Each month we’ll have an anchor scent, with alternatives so you can choose what resonates.
Together, we’ll discover how fragrance can become a ritual of peace, joy, connection and more.
✨ How to join:
1. Try the scent of the month (or one of the alternatives).
2. Take 3 mindful breaths with it.
3. Whisper one word you want to carry into your day.
4. Share your word or memory in the comments.
This season we’re starting with a Christmas duet: Peppermint 🌿 + Cinnamon 🌟
Freshness + warmth. Clarity + comfort. Perfect companions for the holidays.
(Please note that I do not sell scents - this journey is purely for your wellbeing)
👉 Which scent speaks to you today? Drop a 🌿 for peppermint, a 🌟 for cinnamon, or both if you love the duet!

If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been… here’s a glimpse.
Life for me has been full, complex, and sacredly still — and I’ve needed time to be quiet in this space.
But something new is stirring…
I’m weaving together three of my deepest loves: life coaching, art, and whole health. What’s emerging is bold, meaningful, and rooted in healing, empowerment, and creativity.
If you’ve walked with me before, I’d love to welcome you back — and if you’re new here, I’m so glad you’ve found this space.💫 Change is coming.Drop a comment if you’re curious — I’ll be sharing more in the coming days. Your presence here matters more than you know.

I find the practice of “glimmer searching” quite helpful. Read the article and share your thoughts in the comments!
Cresting The Hill: WHAT ARE GLIMMERS? AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
What are Glimmers? They're the opposite to triggers and can be used to change our brain's response to remembered trauma.

I posted this exactly this time last year and think it can be said often enough so I’m going to repost it.
I don’t know how many young people read my posts but I have a super hot tip for you today. If you want to have a great life, look at the people you choose to have in your life. Firstly look at your friends. Do they build you up, support and encourage you? Do they love and accept you for who you are as a person? Do they spur you on and encourage you to do better? Do they tell you what you are good at and cheer you on? Also - there are their people you choose to have in your life - especially while you are at school...people you look up to & admire. Musicians, actors, teachers, coaches, sports people. Are they GOOD for you? Do they have values and speak words that bring LIFE to you? Also consider having intentional relationships with people that will help you to move forward and live your best life! Catch up with them regularly and be real with them! It might be someone that can help you out with something that you’d like to be better at - such as school, leadership, art, sports, spirituality or simply someone to bounce ideas off and set goals with. You’ll be amazed how fast things can start changing for the better when you look at who’s in your life. - Lyndall Leonard 😊
