* Child Protection Week *
To support and help raise awareness for National Child Protection Week, we have been getting our children involved through important conversations such as "Where I feel safe".

* Growing our own green thumbs *

We have been so lucky to have one of our educators take such wonderful care of our worm farm!
While Miss Ella was tending to the worm farm she noticed some little seeds beginning to sprout amongst the compost. Rather than letting them go to waste, she carefully removed them and decided to give them a chance to grow! 🌱

Miss Ella created her very own mini greenhouse to nurture the seedlings and has been watching them closely as they grow.

We have purchased a small greenhouse to transfer them into! Watch this space 😃🌱

Thank you for celebrating Educators Day 2026 with us! We have been spoilt by our wonderful families. We are extremely lucky to have such a fantastic team of educators at Kids Academy Preschool, it was an honour to celebrate them today!

Dear Families,

We are excited to announce that our local Kids Academy Services in our area are coming together to support an incredible fundraising initiative for City Church Care.

Joining us will be our Regional Manager, Elle Brouwer, and Director of Operations, Michaela Brown, as we work together to raise funds for this wonderful cause.

Our goal is to collectively complete 1,000 kilometres and raise enough money to provide 1,000 Christmas hampers for families in need at Christmas 2026.

This week we had a special visit from the NSW Ambulance Service!

A big thankyou to our wonderful parents at the centre, Anthony and Mitch for organising to visit us with their Ambulance and for providing such an important educational experience for us.

Anthony and Mitch spoke to us about their important role in helping people and explained when and how to call 000 in an emergency.

All of our Toddler and Prep children were given the opportunity to explore the ambulance, sit in the front seat, and even lie on the stretcher. They even played the siren for us.

Last month, our Preschool celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime with our children by listening to the story Luna Roo.

Afterwards, the Prep children reflected as a whole group on the emotions experienced by Luna throughout the story and brainstormed ways they can be supportive and caring to our friends and peers in our preschool environment.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, bookshops, family homes and many other places around the country.
