How to get started with Mini Prep!

To get your little one school ready with Mini Prep, simply head to the website and fill out our enrolment form, choose a day that suits you and easily book ongoing sessions online. Please come and see the space and meet the team at anytime between 9am and 12pm. Term 2 spots are filling up fast.

Programs Tailored For Every Age! 👩🏫 🧩

We meet children where they are developmentally and guide them to the next level through purposeful play and scaffolding.

Play with Purpose – the start of your learning journey focusing on social, language, literacy and numeracy skills.

Pre-Prep – Advances academic content and self-regulation.

Mini Prep – Final preparation to ensure an easy transition into primary school.

One of the sessions we run here at Mini Prep is sensory play.

Sensory play involves engaging a child’s senses – touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing. The aim is to stimulate their natural curiosity and creativity through play-based activities.The goal is not necessarily to achieve a specific outcome, but rather, allows children to freely explore and experiment with different materials and textures - it's a wonderful thing to learn about our world!

From squishing slime between their fingers to exploring different colours and materials, sensory play helps develop important cognitive, motor, and social skills that lay the foundation for future growth and learning.

Mini Prep is conveniently located in the heart of Cronulla at 6/31 Gerrale Street so you can drop the kids off and grab a coffee, run an errand or just enjoy an hour to yourself!

Mini Prep provides a range of sessions for a variety of ages!

Our current sessions are $38.50 each and include:

• Play with Purpose (3-4 years) 9am - 10am
• Pre Prep (4-5 years) 10am - 11am
• Mini Prep (3-6 years) 11am - 12pm
• Ready for Reading K-2 (8 years) 4 - 5pm or 5 - 6pm
• One on One Tuition K-2 3 - 4pm, 4 - 5pm or 5 - 6pm
