Nrithiyanjali 2025 - our annual showcase

In this solo performance, Gayathree presents a keerthanam originally performed at her arangetram in 2022, choreographed by Mrs Vaishnavi Kowshikan. Bharathanatyam has been an integral part of her life from an early age, and she continues to pursue it with dedication and passion. Having successfully completed her sixth-grade examinations, Gayathree is now preparing to complete her final level this year. She remains committed to deepening and refining her artistry while also mentoring younger students at Pathmalaya, alongside her teachers Mrs Pathmaranjini Umashankar and Mrs Vaishnavi Kowshikan.

Presenting a beautiful keerthanam choreographed by Mrs. Pathmaranjini Umashankar, performed by our senior disciple, Abirami Prakash. Abirami has been learning from a young age under the dedicated guidance of her teachers, Mrs. Pathmaranjini Umashankar and Mrs. Vaishnavi Kowshikan. In 2025, she successfully completed both her Arangetram and Teacher’s Grade examinations. Abirami has consistently demonstrated a keen attention to detail, refining not only her movements and postures but also mastering the nuanced art of Abhinaya. She continues to grow and evolve in her artistic journey at Pathmalaya, where she also assists in classes mentoring our junior students.

Shoumia, a senior student at Pathmalaya has been learning Bharathantyam from a young age presents Sabdam. After taking a break from Bharathantyam she returned 2 years ago and underwent intensive training, completing her Arangetram in 2025. Shoumia’s passion for Bharathantyam is growing as she continues to learn and refine herself as a dancer. She is now working towards completing her dance certification

Nrithiyanjali 2025 - Our annual dance concert 🪷

Mahadevasutam presented by Shreeshaila, a senior student at Pathmalaya Academy of Fine Arts.

Shreeshaila completed her Arangetram in August 2024 and obtained her Advanced Diploma in Indian Classical Dance (Bharathanatyam) - Teacher’s Grade in 2025 via the examinations held by ACMS. Shreeshaila is the disciple of Mrs Pathmaranjini Umashankar and Mrs Vaishnavi Kowshikan.

Shreeshaila continues to grow and refine her artistry at Pathmalaya, while also assisting with the junior classes.
