What a moment šš Last week I hosted a 3 hour AI & Markeitng workshop in Athens,Greece. We had 150 senior professionals from 75 companies attend. My main goal was to inspire senior leaders to have an open mindset with AI and how best to integrate it with their teams and marketing function. For 23 years I have worked with innovation in marketing and consumer behaviour. This workshop was a career highlight. The feedback warmed my heart, to hear CMOs and senior marketing leaders come up to thank me for such an eye opening workshop. I put so much passion into my clients and workshops , so it's lovely to hear how much they enjoyed it š

Itās wild to think I spent 18 years in senior corporate roles⦠and now Iām in my sixth year of running Ampletides, my digital marketing consultancy. Let me tell youāowning a business is one hell of a ride.
Last night, I had the pleasure of attending FailConāan incredible event hosted by JASON ROULSTON in Brisbane, where seriously successful leaders opened up about their mistakes, missteps, and full-blown failures.
What hit hardest? Three raw truths:
1ļøā£ No one gives a sh*t about your business but YOU.
Harsh but true. I laughed out loud becauseāafter all these yearsāthatās a fact.
2ļøā£ Donāt tie your self-worth to your business.
Easier said than done. Thereāve been so many moments when a setback made me question everything. āDo I even know what Iām doing?ā has definitely been asked (more than once š
). But your businessās highs and lows arenāt a reflection of you.
3ļøā£ Lone wolf syndrome will sink you.
If youāve ever crossed paths with me, youāll know Iām very independent. But the truth isāentrepreneurship isnāt a solo sport. You need people. You need partnerships. You need honest convos with those who get it. No one makes it alone.
At the end of the day, I always say: Pick your hard.
For some, itās the structure of corporate life.
For others, itās the uncertainty of building something from scratch.
Either wayāitās your life, your path, and your definition of success.
Also had a massive giggle when Karen talked about being the only female on the senior management team and being asked to make everyone tea. I will never forget the day I walked into my first senior management meeting as the only female and was asked to make a cup of tea...
