Our Wellbeing Team hosted an R U OK? Day BBQ for our students and staff, creating a chance to connect, enjoy some food and have a chat.

R U OK? Day is a great reminder that checking in with someone can make a real difference. A simple “Are you okay?” can open the door to an important conversation. 💛

⚽ Macarthur Bulls in Schools Football Program! ⚽
On Wednesday 2nd September, our Year 7–10 students had a fantastic opportunity to participate in the Macarthur Bulls in Schools Football Program, led by Macarthur Bulls coaches Tomislav Uskok and Adrian Knez.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, developing their football skills, learning new techniques and having plenty of fun along the way! 🙌⚽
A big thank you to Mr Onana for organising this fantastic experience and providing our students with the opportunity to learn from professional coaches and experience the game in a new way.

Well done to all our students for getting involved and making the most of the day! 👏

💐 Farewell, Mrs Koskinas 💐

Last week. we farewelled our wonderful Deputy Principal, Mrs Koskinas, after an incredible 28 years of dedicated service to Ingleburn High School.

For almost three decades, Mrs Koskinas has been an important part of our school community, supporting generations of students, staff and families with care, dedication and warmth.

Your infectious smile and unforgettable laugh have brightened our school each and every day and will be dearly missed.

Thank you, Mrs Koskinas, for your remarkable contribution to Ingleburn High School and for the lasting impact you have made on so many.

We wish you every happiness and success as you begin your next chapter. You will always be part of the Ingleburn High School family.

A very special thank you to Souljah and our Pasifika students for the beautiful and heartfelt send-off for Mrs Koskinas. Your wonderful tribute made her farewell even more memorable and was a fitting way to celebrate someone who has given so much to our school community.

On Friday, our Year 9 iSTEM students took their ideas for improving Ingleburn Train Station and its surroundings to UNSW after five weeks of research, design and development with a blend of incursions, excursions and online seminar modules.

Students presented their innovative solutions on-site using physical models, digital modelling and coding to UNSW lecturers, university staff and other schools, receiving fantastic feedback on their creativity and real-world thinking.
Of note - Avi, Raiyan and Ziad were particularly commended for connecting their STEM knowledge with their own experiences of Ingleburn.

This project served as a fantastic example of HPGE and STEM in action, challenging students to solve authentic problems, extend their thinking and engage with university and industry pathways.

A huge thank you to UNSW for their continued partnership and congratulations to our 9iSTEM students!

💛 R U OK? Day – Thursday 10 September

Next Thursday, 10 September, we will be recognising R U OK? Day — an important reminder to check in, connect with those around us and ask, “R U OK?”

To acknowledge the day, we will be holding the following activities:

💛 Mufti Day – Wear a splash of yellow and bring a gold coin donation to support R U OK? Students are reminded that appropriate attire and enclosed footwear must be worn.

🌭 Free BBQ Lunch – Staff and students are invited to enjoy a free BBQ near the Wellbeing Demountable.

💬 Pop-Up Wellbeing Hub – Visit our wellbeing hub near the Wellbeing Demountable, where our Year Advocates will be available to connect with students.

We encourage everyone to get involved and help spread the message that a conversation can make a difference. 💛
