BRHYTHMIC is the name of the Drum and Percussion Tutoring business I have been running since 1999. In 1999, I attained Grade 8 Percussion with Trinity College Lon

don with Distinction as well as a Distinction average for all other Grades completed below. During my school days, I topped NSW for 3 unit music for my HSC (electives in performance). Currently playing in a band and play occasional gigs in and around Sydney, however mostly my focus and priority is teaching music to students who want to learn drums and percussion. Over the years, I have acquired a comprehensive library of drumming books and resources where I seek a variety of styles and exercises preventing the need for students to purchase copious amounts of drumming material. My approach is balanced between technical ability (such as rudiments / sight-reading / exercises) and musicality (interpretation / improvisation / ‘feel’). Each week I prepare lessons to incorporate the following key areas of drumming: Reading, Co-ordination, Independence, Technique, Syncopation, Sustainability, Rudimental exercises.
