Evidence for Learning

Evidence for Learning helps great practice become common practice in education. We do this by building, sharing and encouraging the use of evidence.

We help educators increase learning by improving the evidence of what works and why.

Today we are sharing news about the next phase of Evidence for Learning (E4L).

We are very proud of E4L’s achievements over the last eight years. E4L now has 26,000 frequent users of its materials and there have been over 150,000 downloads from the E4L website since 2015. In addition to publishing over 175 evidence-informed resources for educators and delivering over 425 professional learning events to a total of over 16,000 educators since 2015, E4L has commissioned three Randomised Control Trials, two pilot studies, four systematic reviews and two research investigations on topics of importance for educators.

It is now time for E4L to evolve to its next phase outside of Social Ventures Australia. Over the next two years, the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) will be the guardian of the E4L evidence platform and resources available in Australia, whilst associated professional learning providers will continue some of the support E4L has provided Australian educators since its inception. While the E4L website will remain available, E4L will no longer have a social media presence.
