Wombat Occasional Child Care Centre was established in 1979 and operated in the Community Centre in Gymea. We are a community based, non profit organisation that is managed by a parent committee. We employ qualified and experienced staff and aim to provide high quality, inclusive child care. We’re conveniently located behind the Miranda Library, just a short walk from Miranda Westfield. Our team of qualified educators provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment, and families are able to claim CCS.
We offer flexible bookings — from a quick 2‑hour session to a full day (8am–4pm). Perfect for appointments, a few hours to yourself, or gently introducing your child to care.
