Blooming Kids FDC is feeling proud to say good bye to our first graduate.

Kids made their own information books about Australia. They coloured in the objects that are famous to Australia & also traced their names. Lastly, they cut the worksheets and turned them into tiny booklets :)
That was really great fun

Our 'Australia Day' craft as following learning outcome # 1: "kids have strong sense of identity"

Our little artists are enjoying freehand painting. On a big single paint sheet they are learning sharing (both ideas and material) and working in a group :)

A simple pom pom drop activity for toddler is good for developing fine & sensory motor skills, eye-hand coordination and understanding of cause and effect :)

We are learning spellings :)

'Threading Animals'
An interesting activity for quite time play. It develops fine motor skills.

Today's activity was generated by a kid's comment. One of our preschoolers was of the belief, "plants come from the sky just like babies." 😯
So we had a nature walk in the backyard and explored that plants do come from the ground. They have roots, stems, leaves and flower/fruit. Plants also need water, sun and air to make food 😊

Numeracy and literacy worksheets are used to achieve learning outcome #5 "children are effective communicators" :)

'Today we cut the cardboard to create these lovely watches' :)
Besides improving fine motor skills, cutting with scissors also improves eye-hand coordination and bilateral coordination ( using both hands, while each one is doing something different).
