Kids made their own information books about Australia. They coloured in the objects that are famous to Australia & also traced their names. Lastly, they cut the worksheets and turned them into tiny booklets :)

'Threading Animals'

Today's activity was generated by a kid's comment. One of our preschoolers was of the belief, "plants come from the sky just like babies." 😯
So we had a nature walk in the backyard and explored that plants do come from the ground. They have roots, stems, leaves and flower/fruit. Plants also need water, sun and air to make food 😊

'Today we cut the cardboard to create these lovely watches' :)
Besides improving fine motor skills, cutting with scissors also improves eye-hand coordination and bilateral coordination ( using both hands, while each one is doing something different).
