🚨 Vehicle Recall Alert: Toyota & Lexus 🚨

Toyota and Lexus have issued a recall for over 15,000 vehicles due to a software error that may prevent critical safety information from appearing on the instrument cluster, including warnings for engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, and electrical charge. ⚠️

Recalled Vehicles:

Toyota Prado: GDJ250R & GDJ251R (2024–2025) — 13,042 units
Lexus:
GX 550 (VJA252R)
UX 300E (KMA10R)
UX 300H (MZAH11R)
UX 300H AWD (MZAH16R)
Variants of the above models (2024–2025) — 2,593 units

This defect could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death, so affected owners should update their vehicles as soon as possible. Toyota and Lexus will contact owners to arrange a free software update, either at a dealer or over-the-air (OTA).

Owners of certain Hyundai Tucson vehicles (2025–2026 models) should be aware of a new nationwide recall affecting nearly 36,500 vehicles across Australia.

The recall relates to a software issue with the Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA) system, which may cause unexpected braking even when there is no immediate collision risk. This could increase the risk of an accident for vehicle occupants and other road users.

If you own a Hyundai Tucson, keep an eye out for communication from Hyundai and arrange the free software update if your vehicle is affected.
