Students who celebrate Christmas are loving our Christmas themed English and phonics tasks. This student was showing their understanding of the y —> ies rule by joining baubles on a Christmas tree! They also showed their understanding of exceptions to this rule by putting the exceptions into presents underneath the tree. Well done! 👏

Did you know that weekly feedback emails are part of our learning support packages? When you sign up for weekly sessions, you will receive a weekly email detailing what was completing during the session, any areas of note, and highlighted successes. We find this so much more useful than an end-of-year report alone, as you can track your child’s progress over the year, term, and week. Sorting sounds, with a focus on ‘eigh’ as in ‘sleigh’ 🛷
All the ‘eigh’ words went into sleigh, while the others went into the reindeer. Well done to this student who loves to draw (and celebrate Christmas time!)

Can you believe it’s nearly the end of the 2024 school year! Enjoy these last few weeks of learning with your friends and teachers 💙

This student is reading all about Pompeii. They have a special interest in this subject and this book is a fantastic way to extend their literacy skills - with lots of foreign/unknown words and some tricky comprehension questions! Well done 👏🏼
