Researcher Chase Young told us about a study where second-grade students practiced their readers' theater scripts each day for a week. Then they performed them. Reading comprehension improved for ALL students! BUT - it improved the most for students who tested significantly lower in decoding, vocabulary, and reading comprehension before the study.

And the students didn't think Readers' Theater could improve their reading because it was TOO MUCH FUN! 🤩
