After more than three decades performing with Musica Viva Australia In Schools, percussionist, drummer, bassist and singer Jess Ciampa has hung up his MVAIS hat.

From touring the world with Southern Crossings to performing alongside some of Australia’s finest musicians, Jess has done it all; including more than 30 years of bringing live music to students across Australia. In this special story, Jess reflects on his MVAIS journey, the musicians who shaped him, and the unique energy of performing for a school audience where every show is a first for the kids in the room.
