What does the future of learning look like when generations learn from each other?
As part of Adult Learners Week, WEA Sydney welcomed postgraduate Master of Education students from the University of Sydney for The Future of Learning: A Conversation Across Generations.
Rather than simply showing our visitors around, we wanted to create a genuine two-way exchange.
WEA adult learners, tutors, staff and university students came together to share ideas and experiences about technology, changing lives and the many different ways we learn.
Our learners had plenty to teach the next generation of educators, while the postgraduate students brought fresh ideas about where education is heading.
Most importantly, we talked about what we should never lose: the human connection that comes from learning together.
It was a wonderful celebration of the value of learning at every age.
And it left us with one question:
What will you learn next?
