Developing gross motor skills and coordination while having a blast outside with Coach Loughlin from Ready Steady Go 😃 🏉 🌞

For this school readiness activity we took the learning outdoors! 😄🌞

Continuing to develop counting and number recognition skills through using the coloured play balls, each of the children took turns sharing at aiming and throwing the colours they were holding into the targets inside the stepping steps 🔢 😃 🪣

We've been exploring the topic of farm animals at ALROS 🐴🐶🐷🐮

These learning experiences were designed to promote animal recognition and early mathematical thinking, as it is important to develop these skills from an early age and what better way than through meaningful, play-based learning opportunities!

Working on number recognition 🔢😃

This experience supported early mathematical concepts, strengthened number recognition, promoted problem-solving, concentration, and built children's confidence as they prepared for school! 📚😃

Connecting with nature and learning about where the food we eat comes from is all a part of the fun at A Little Rei 💛🪏🪴🌞
