✨ Something Very Special is Happening at Little Learners! ✨

This week at Little Learners Early Learning Centre, we’ve welcomed some very exciting little visitors… 🐥🦆

Our children are experiencing the magic of life firsthand as we watch baby chicks and ducklings hatch right before our eyes! From patiently observing the eggs to seeing the tiny cracks appear, it’s been a truly unforgettable learning experience.

Moments like these spark curiosity, wonder, and meaningful conversations about nature, growth, and caring for living things. The joy and excitement on the children’s faces says it all 💛

We feel so lucky to provide these hands-on experiences that create lasting memories and deepen children’s understanding of the world around them.

The sandpit is one of the greatest learning tools among our environment, offering so many opportunities for learning and development.
The sand enhances neural connections through touch and manipulation, as well as fostering problem-solving through construction. Their social skills, language development, and creativity flourish when engaging in imaginative play amongst the sand, baking cakes, building volcanoes, turning into mermaids… the possibilities are endless!

Enrolments Now Open – Ages 2–5 Years 🌟

We’re excited to share that we currently have limited availability in our Preschool Program for children aged 2–5 years!

At Little Learners ELC, we offer a structured, play-based preschool program designed to build confidence, independence, and school readiness in a nurturing and supportive environment.

✨ What we provide:
• A structured early learning program aligned with school readiness goals
• Qualified and caring educators
• All meals provided daily (healthy, balanced and freshly prepared)
• A safe, engaging and welcoming environment
• Strong focus on social, emotional and cognitive development

💰 Government Funding Support Available
We offer NSW Start Strong Preschool Funding and Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for eligible families.

Families accessing CCS will receive subsidy for a minimum of 72 hours per fortnight, giving flexibility to choose the days and hours that suit your family while still maximising government support (for families eligible for CCS).

This week at Little Learners ELC was a little different, we arrived on Monday morning to the whole centre being under water. We have had to close for the week whilst the centre was cleaned and deemed safe to return, which we are still waiting to hear. Unfortunately this put a spanner in our end of year party plans, with us not being able to hold our traditional end of year party at the service.
We want to take this opportunity to thank all our parents and families for their understanding and support during this crazy time of year. All the offers of help were greatly appreciated during this time of stress and tears. This truly showed what an amazing little community we have❤️
Most of all we want to extend a big big Thank you to The Birdhouse restaurant at Michinbury, for kindly opening their doors and allowing us to move our End of year party to their restaurant between their Lunch and Dinner seating. We are forever grateful for their kindness and help, especially during this busy time of year. Not only do they serve amazing food but they help throw an amazing preschool party!!
Fingers crossed we receive some good news on Monday so we can welcome everyone back on Tuesday 🤞
The Birdhouse thank you so much for keeping the smiles on the kids faces. We are forever grateful ❤️❤️
