How fantastic do the finished sets at Cobar High School look? It's amazing what students achieve in just a few short hours. And check out the fabulously operatic storyline they've invented - of course it ends in a suitably epic fashion but we don't want to give any spoilers till after the premiere!

Surgical Dreams

Tori is a housewife who is secretly studying to be a surgeon. Her husband, Harold, a cobbler does not support her dreams but expects a clean house and a meal on the table when he gets home. When Tori vents her frustrations alone, the neighbours Phoebe and Felix offer her the advice that she should do what her husband wants. Harold vents his own frustrations at work to his friends Steve and Tater. Tori goes to the Housewives Bookclub led by Jezebelle where she has been secretly studying for her final exam. At the graduation ceremony, Tori waits for her name to be called. At home, Harold wonders where she is and why dinner is not ready. Phoebe and Felix tell him she's graduating. Harold rushes to the graduation ceremony ...

Things are shaping up beautifully for this week's opera premiere at Cobar High School. Today was casting the opera and creating the sets. A fantastic group of students!

Murray and Pete are on the road this week for another project at the wonderful Cobar High School. The show is already being advertised locally, and we can't wait to see what this year's students come up with.
