Using kenitic sand to create a sensory table of hatching emu eggs, kids enjoyed watching the sand fall apart to reveal what’s inside, great for gross motor, building on curiosity and hand eye coordination, plus loads and loads of fun 🥰

Play dough has become a daily ritual with the kids shouting out doh! doh! When they want to start. Fun times on ladybug and playing peekaboos are all little moments that take my breath away with this cutie lot

This week is Space week and the space diorama has got us star gazing, so here the children are creating the Milky Way with star prints in the galaxy 🤩🤩🤩

With Space week starting next week, we have been busy creating our space diorama, complete with moon craters, asteroids and ofcourse planets. The kids are mesmerised and wanted to colour in rocket ships as a finishing touch. We have been talking about the sparking stars and the hot hot sun. So glad the children are loving it.

Today’s Sand play with natural resources encouraging sustainability and allowing children to grow and learn through their environment, a lot of conversations on looking after our environment as well as change of season were had, as we collected leaves and fallen gumnuts for our craft activity

Spring is in the air, we picked flowers from our garden and splashed in the water, we spoke about how to look after our pant life and the change of seasons while watching gumnuts float. Learning with nature provides children with a vastly enriched experience.
