We have been busy!

Not only did we finish our Dyno cell set up we managed to build an engine!

This is one of the first R1 Engines that have come off the production line, focusing on the new bottom end as we are still running a factory head on this particular setup (although full production heads are ready for testing)

This is our new RB26 block, extended deck +2mm with a xtra wide journal 77.7 mm custom crank, with special bearings, 90mm bore making it a 2.965L with 123.5mm long rods on 22mm pins.. set up is engineered for a high revving and ultra high response set up, sound and revs like a 2.8, but torque and drivability of a 3.0 or bigger!

We do have a 79 mm option available but we wanted to test the 77 first

Now we know the Drift squid asked us for 1100 hp so we’re sending a free Merch pack to whoever guesses closest to the final number on 48 psi and a 8685 turbo.

Clues include zero increase in header tank cooling pressure, MLS head gasket without any sort of fire ring, SF cam package, manifold, xtra big boy intercooler.

A few more new RB blocks out the door this week as we ramp up with castings and machining, we are now tooled up to really start catching up and delivering these blocks in decent numbers thanks to our new machine!

We are very proud to finally have the complete process down pat and ironed out including CNC main tunnel and cylinder honing and also fire ringing.

We have all of the options finalised with different main cap braces “OEM style R0 and Integrated R1” and also bore sizes “86- 90mm”

Adding another DMG Mori NHX 5000 Machine if something that we thought we would never have to do a few years ago after the last one was installed

Now that we are formally in full production with our Rb26 engine blocks it’s almost the perfect timing although planned well over a year ago!

this is the last piece of the puzzle to finish off the filling of our football field of a workshop to capacity, as well as a jampacked shop in melbourne “PRP MODENA” also at capacity with our new sequential gearbox and a heap of other projects coming into fruition simultaneously
