We had the best time enjoying music & movement time with the Bilby children from Mimosa Kids today!

The children enjoyed singing and moving to a variety of songs including Fruit Salad, If You’re Happy & You Know It, Shake Your Sillies Out and Old McDonald.

We also brought along some instruments for the children to learn about, listen to and use. We learnt about the guitar, keyboard, harmonica, tamborine, and egg shaker. We learnt that our bodies can be percussion instruments through clapping, stomping and clicking, and our voices can also be an instrument by singing high and low, as well as loud and soft.

A huge thank you to Mimosa for having us today! We look forward to coming back next term!

We are parents of a 3 and 5 year old and noticed a gap early music introduction. With an extensive background in live music performance we have established Tiny Tunes with a goal to encourage a love of music, movement and rhythm for tiny people!
