Little Bees Burwood Police Incursion:
Children at little Bees childcare in burwood have been learning about The Police and their role in our community.
Today Constable Jim from Burwood Police Station came to visit and talked to the children about;
- Safe community helpers: eg. Parents, doctors, nurses, firefighters, teachers and police officers.
- Learning about stranger danger: children learnt to stay away from strangers. If a stranger approaches you, say stop! Or tell help and scream someone is hurting you.
- Learning about road safety: making sure to use our sense of hearing and sight when crossing the road. Making sure we are sitting in the correct car seat and always buckle up. Make sure parents are buckled up too!
Children listened attentively to Constable Jim and provided Constable Jim with some pancakes for Pancake Tuesday to share with his colleagues.
