💛 R U OK? Day 💛 // At Red Bear, we’re always here to lend an ear, lend a hand and look out for one another, our team, our families, our friends and our wider community.

Because being part of the Red Bear family means being part of a village that cares. 💛

Sometimes a simple “Are you OK?” can make all the difference..

Jeans for Genes Day // For the 5th year running, our Red Bear community proudly supported this worthy cause, and this year we raised an incredible $1,000+! 💙

Our little bakers got busy making and decorating some very yummy cupcakes for their families to purchase, all in support of this wonderful cause.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Red Bear families, our little cupcake creators and our dream team for helping us smash our fundraising goal! 👏💙.

Community starts with sharing.

A big thank you to Miss Megan and Charles, for adding some wonderful books to our Little Loftys Street Library.

Our street library is here for everyone. Take a book, leave a book, or simply enjoy discovering a new story. It is a small way we can all help build a stronger, more connected community, one book at a time. .

COMMUNITY // Miss Danielle and Miss Astrid had a fantastic day representing Red Bear at the Oatley Senior Campus School Expo.

We were proud to assist with planning some of the creative activities and providing activities for children to enjoy throughout the day. Working alongside local primary school SRC students, we helped children explore arts, crafts and imaginative play while connecting with families and the wider community.

It was wonderful to catch up with so many familiar faces, including Kim Ferrario, Principal of Penshurst West Public School, Lauren Edwards, Assistant Principal of Oatley Public School, Jan Maree from the Department of Education, allied health professionals, current students, former Red Bear children and their families.

Events like these remind us of the importance of strong community partnerships and collaboration in supporting children as they transition from early childhood education into their school years.

Building connections, supporting transitions and celebrating our community..

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT // Fun, laughter & connection.

At Red Bear our families are part of what makes our community so special. Together we laugh, learn & create beautiful memories.

Thank you Claire for making us laugh until our cheeks hurt. 🤣💛.

NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORY TIME //

Yesterday at Red Bear we joined schools and childcare centres all across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime! Together, we shared the wonderful story Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller, all at the very same time!

Written by Australian authors Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd and illustrated by Jake A. Minton.

This fun and inspiring story brought us together to celebrate literacy, imagination and the joy of reading. What a special experience for our children to be part of something happening right across the country!

We love Luna Roo ⚽️🦘.

Trying to choose an “office bestie” when we all spend more time together than our own families.

Truth is… we’re one big team, one big family and we’re just happy we finally convinced Astrid to do a reel with us. 😆💛.

BUSH KINDY //

Our Red Bear adventurers had the best time exploring Moore Reserve! The children created their own maps, searched for treasures during a nature scavenger hunt and fully embraced our Bush Kindy program.

From exploring new trails and climbing trees with their teachers, to feeding the birds and discovering the beauty of nature around us, it was a day filled with curiosity, confidence and connection to the outdoors. .
