NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORY TIME //

Yesterday at Red Bear we joined schools and childcare centres all across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime! Together, we shared the wonderful story Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller, all at the very same time!

Written by Australian authors Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd and illustrated by Jake A. Minton.

This fun and inspiring story brought us together to celebrate literacy, imagination and the joy of reading. What a special experience for our children to be part of something happening right across the country!

BUSH KINDY //

Our Red Bear adventurers had the best time exploring Moore Reserve! The children created their own maps, searched for treasures during a nature scavenger hunt and fully embraced our Bush Kindy program.

From exploring new trails and climbing trees with their teachers, to feeding the birds and discovering the beauty of nature around us, it was a day filled with curiosity, confidence and connection to the outdoors.

A SPECIAL VISITOR //

We were so excited to welcome Laurie’s big brother, former Red Bear friend Freddie, along with mum Alexandra and baby Vinny for a very special visit.

Alexandra read a favourite book of ours, ‘Starting School’, whilst Freddie spoke with the children about what “primary school” is really like. From uniforms and libraries to sport days and making new friends. The children were so engaged and excited to hear all about Freddie’s school experiences.

Thank you Alexandra, Freddie and Vinny for spending time with our Red Bear family and helping support our children as they begin thinking about their own school journey.

ANZAC DAY EXCURSION // Our children recently visited the Oatley Memorial Garden, where they had the privilege of spending time with Max from the Oatley RSL, who shared with us the meaning of ANZAC Day and why remembrance holds such an important place in the hearts of Australians and New Zealanders.

A heartfelt thank you to Max for your time, kindness and wisdom, we hope you and your friends enjoyed the ANZAC biscuits lovingly made by the children.

Thank you also to our wonderful Red Bear parent, Kat, for joining us and sharing a beautiful story with the children.

From the handmade wreath to each carefully crafted poppy, our children poured their hearts into honouring this special day.

EASTER HAT PARADE // A beautiful morning for our Red Bear children as they joined Oatley Public School for their Easter Hat Parade.

It was so special to connect with families and see our past Red Bear friends and older siblings shining with pride. A lovely reminder of the strong community we share.
