We’re often asked what being not-for-profit really means for our families.

Simply put, it means that our purpose always comes before profit. Every dollar we make is reinvested back into our centres, to provide children with enriching and safe learning environments.

We understand how important it is for children to be in a place where they feel safe and settled. And when families need to make a change - planned or unexpected - we’re here to help make that transition easier.

We’re here to support families when it matters most – because every child deserves a Goodstart! ✨

🪂🎉Harmony Week runs from 16 to 22 March. It’s a great time to get the children involved and use teamwork to play some fun parachute games. Children of all ages can join in. The games build strength, coordination and cooperation.

🎶🎼Try making popular shapes like waves or a mushroom. Children can also form a merry-go-round by holding the parachute with one hand and moving in one direction until the music stops.

☑️ If you don’t have a parachute, you can use a large sheet or blanket.

🥎⚽Catching is this month’s Fundamental Movement Skill. It’s a manipulative skill. It helps children develop hand-eye coordination and play sports like cricket, soccer, softball or football.

☑️Remind children to:
• have their hands ready in front of their body, with elbows bent.
• keep their eyes on the ball at all times.
• extend their arms and reach for the ball as it arrives.
• catch with both hands.
