Our Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser at Frenchs Forest last Sunday was a fantastic success! We’re thrilled to announce that we raised an incredible $1,329.25 to support the Forest Sports Academy. A huge thank you to all the parents, students, and teachers who came along and generously volunteered their time to help sell the sausage sizzle. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the P&C for their invaluable support in coordinating the event. Your enthusiasm and teamwork made this fundraiser possible, and we truly appreciate everyone’s commitment to our school community and the Forest Sports Academy.

On Monday we held our Year 7 Enrichment Showcase where students who had participated in the program presented the projects they had been working on. The high standard of the presentations was impressive as well as the thought and planning that the students had obviously put into their projects. Thank you to all the Enrichment teachers for the guidance and support they have given these students.

✨ A wonderful day celebrating our official Opening Ceremony!
It was so special to welcome back Mrs Collins, a key member of the original hardworking planning committee who helped bring this vision to life since 2018. From present and past Principals, Deputies and staff, including Ms Constantin and Mrs Walsh👏
Our Year 12 Legal Studies class also had the exciting opportunity to chat with Mr Minns. A memorable experience for everyone involved!

With 11 goals in 2 matches, our U15 Girls Soccer team are into the 3rd round of the Bill Turner Trophy! That makes us one of just two Government schools on the Beaches left in the competition (and the other one has the word 'Sports' in their name!)
With half our team yet to celebrate their 13th birthday, and a brand new synthetic pitch to train on, we're feeling pretty excited about the future with this awesome group of girls.

Last Friday our Boccia students participated in the Multisport Boccia Day at Thornleigh. Playing against schools who had achieved State level success was a big task, but the boys spirits were high and ready for the challenge. The team did an amazing job, had a lot of fun engaging with other students and came away with 3 wins and 3 losses for the day. They are now looking forward to particpating in more multisport days in the coming future. Thank you to Mr Aguilera, Mr Sills, Mrs Crawford, the parents and students involved who made it such a great day.

Congratulations to Lola A in Year 7 who represented Sydney North at the U14 Girls NSW CHS AFL Championships in Byron Bay last week. 20+ teams competed In extremely muddy and challenging weather conditions and Lola’s team finished fourth overall, which is a great achievement. Lola spent 3 days training with the team before playing 5 games so this was a valuable opportunity for Lola to build on her skills, gain competition experience aswell as making new friends Lola started playing AFL in primary school and this is a proud moment and well deserved reward for her hard work and commitment. Well done Lola!
