AM4U Singing Studen t selected for the children’s choir in world-renowned coloratura soprano Sumi Jo’s 40th Anniversary Sydney Recital this October!
Ashlyn Mun (11), our young, passionate Musical Theatre singer has just achieved another incredible milestone. 🎶✨Ashlyn’s beautifully developed soprano voice has secured her a place in the children’s choir for the upcoming 40th Anniversary Sydney Recital of the world-renowned coloratura soprano Sumi Jo, taking place at Sydney Town Hall. Ashlyn impressed the panel by showcasing her operatic vocal skills at the audition, and she was selected! We are so proud of Ashlyn’s versatility, dedication, and growth as a young singer. What a wonderful opportunity! Bravo, Ashlyn! 🤩👏🌟

Congratulations Stefanie!! 🥈🎉🤩🎤 Our AM4U Most Outstanding Singer 2024, Stefanie Mitchell, competed in the 18+ vocal section at the Ultimate Mic Battle, performing “Loud” and “Shallow”. 🎤✨
She not only took home 2nd Prize, but also received the Most Promising Artist Award along with a gift voucher! 🤩👏🎉

Congratulations Prakriti!!! Very proud to announce that talented AM4U solo singing student Prakriti Borua has won 🥉 Third Prize at the Ultimate Mic Competition today!🎉🤩
Competing against a strong group of teenage singers in the pre-teen first event section, Prakriti delivered a beautiful performance of “Lily” by Alan Walker that truly stood out. 🌟

Meek on Stage at the Sydney Opera House! 🤩🎶👏
So proud of AM4U Solo Student Meek Baruah (12) who is still performing at the Sydney Opera House in Turandot, composed by Giacomo Puccini. 🎭✨
I was attending with my solo student Maria M. and we both loved watching Meek shine on stage, performing across all three acts as part of the Children’s Opera Chorus. A completely sold-out performance and a huge success! Meek is the third blue child on the left! Go Meek!👏🌟

Huge congratulations to AM4U Solo Singing Student Ashlyn Mun (11), who successfully auditioned for the role of Olaf in the musical production Frozen Jr before the summer holidays! We are so proud to share that she will be performing with the North Shore Theatre Company from 8th–16th May 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Ashlyn to continue building her stage experience, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her shine in this wonderful production.

Congratulations to our amazing AM4U Solo Singing student Ruvi! 🌟👏
We are incredibly proud to share that Ruvi Pooliyadde has been named a finalist in the Women of the Year Awards and this morning received the Women of the Year Award in the 7-15 years category! Ruvi is an inspiring young girl who has already made a remarkable impact in her community. Through her Poppy Flower Project 🌺, she crochets and donates handmade poppies to organisations such as the RSL, helping raise funds for veterans and community causes. She has also authored a book about the history and meaning of the poppy flower, raising awareness and those who served. Beyond this, Ruvi runs a “Sharing Knowledge” initiative, where she teaches English via Zoom to students in rural Sri Lanka. She also generously volunteers her time at a preschool, helping young children prepare for school. Ruvi truly embodies kindness, dedication, and community spirit. She also has a beautiful voice that reflects the beautiful soul she is. We are so proud to have such an inspiring young person as part of the AM4U family. Congratulations, Ruvi, what an incredible achievement! 🤩👏

We are so excited to share that AM4U Solo Singing Student Meek Baruah (12) is currently performing as part of the Children’s Opera Chorus in Turandot by Giacomo Puccini at the iconic Sydney Opera House! 🎭🎶 What an extraordinary achievement, sharing the stage in one of the world’s most powerful and dramatic operas, surrounded by professional singers, musicians, and the magic of live opera. Performing Turandot in such a legendary venue is a truly unforgettable experience, and I couldn’t be prouder of Meek’s dedication, hard work, and beautiful voice. Bravo, Meek, what a wonderful journey and an incredible milestone! 🤩🌟👏
