The Replacement stream of the Temporary Graduate visa will be open for applications from 1 July 2022 for current and former Temporary Graduate visa holders impacted by COVID-19 international travel restrictions. The requirement to nominate an occupation from the skilled occupation list and obtain a skills assessment will be removed for Temporary Graduate visa Graduate Work stream applications from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023
The replacement Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa will recognize the commitment made by international students to Australia. It will acknowledge the disruption to plans that COVID-19 and the associated travel restrictions caused.
This stream will be available for new applications from mid-2022. Further details will become available over the coming months. Please continue to check back for updates.
