Some conversations remind you that healing is not about becoming someone else.

It is about coming back to who you are beneath the overwhelm, the self-doubt, and the noise of everything life has layered on top of you.

In this episode of the Emotional Fitness Gym Podcast, Valerie Andrews and Brent Lindsay sit down with Laura Gutiérrez, founder of The Love Approach Project, for a grounded conversation on love, emotional healing, self-trust, change, overwhelm, and the inner work that helps us return to ourselves with more truth, awareness, and compassion.

Laura brings a powerful lens through her work as an Emotional Fitness Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, Behavioural Profiler, and healer, supporting individuals and teams to navigate life and leadership with greater balance, clarity, and connection.

This is a conversation about more than coping.

It is about emotional fitness, self-love, and the kind of inner work that helps you meet change without abandoning yourself.

Growth can feel confronting.

Especially when change begins to touch the relationships closest to us.

In this clip, Louise Cramond speaks to the fear so many people carry:
if I truly grow into who I am becoming, will I lose the people I love?

It is a powerful question.
And her reflection brings us back to something essential.

Keep your heart open.
Stay out of the ego mind.
Use your voice with honesty and care.

Because communication can become the bridge.
And when we stay open in that way, there is more hope, more possibility, and more room for relationships to evolve rather than simply break.

A grounded and deeply human reflection on change, love, and what it takes to grow without closing down.

Growth can change relationships.

Not everyone will understand the version of you that is emerging.
Not everyone will walk with you in the same way.

But as Louise Cramond shares in this conversation, there is real wisdom in continuing to extend your hand in love.

Some will take it.
Some will not.

And the invitation is to stay open without forcing, stay loving without abandoning yourself, and let growth reveal what is ready to stay, shift, or deepen.

A powerful reflection on change, love, and the courage it takes to keep your heart open as life evolves.

To finally come home to self.

Not by filling the gap with more.
More money.
More clothes.
More distractions.

But by coming back to the love that never actually left.

And realising maybe you were never as alone,
or as abandoned,
as it once felt.

A beautiful reminder from Louise Cramond.

The gift for men in this stage is not to wait.

It is to rise.

To grow with her.
To meet the challenge.
To expand in love.

Not just in love with your partner,
but in love as a way of being.
In how you show up.
In how you lead.
In how you meet your family, your work, and the people around you.

This is not just a challenge for one relationship.
It is a challenge for all of us.

Regulation does not need to be complicated.

Sometimes it starts with 10 minutes.

A closed door.
A few deep breaths.
A moment to come back to yourself.

Even in the middle of noise, kids, pressure, and a full day, there is still space to pause and return inward.

Notice the breath coming in.
Notice the breath going out.

Simple.
Grounding.
And often exactly what is needed.

In this deeply human episode of the Emotional Fitness Gym Podcast, Brent & Valerie are joined by Louise Cramond to explore change, grief, identity, menopause, emotional awareness, and what it means to come home to yourself.

Louise is a coach, holistic counsellor, Emotional Fitness Formula practitioner, and Extended DISC behavioural profiler who helps women, including women in business, navigate uncertainty and growth without sacrificing their health and wellbeing.

At the heart of this conversation is a powerful reframe:

Menopause and major life change are not necessarily a decline.

They can become a transformation.
A reinvention.
A second bloom.

Louise explains why women may begin questioning who they are, what they value, and how they want to live.. and why the people around them cannot simply wait for the “old version” to return.

Her invitation is to grow together:

“Instead of waiting for her to come back, rise with her.”

yourself again.

Watch or listen now, and share this episode with someone navigating change, menopause, grief, identity, or a new season of becoming.

It is one thing to see calm, grounded behaviour in a child.
It is another thing to know it is not coming from pressure, parentification, or a child having to carry what belongs to the adult.

Miranda speaks so beautifully to the difference.

When we do our own work, regulate ourselves, and become more conscious in how we parent, we create the kind of safety that allows a child to be supported well and grow well.

That is what makes this insight so powerful.
Not just that her daughter is calm and grounded, but that Miranda can meet that with confidence, knowing it is being nurtured through healthy, considered parenting.

A beautiful reminder that the work we do on ourselves changes the way we are able to show up for the people we love most.

We are meaning-making machines.

Every day, in work, in relationships, in parenting, and in the ordinary moments of life, we are constantly deciding what things mean. And that meaning shapes how we feel, how we respond, and how we move through the world.

What Miranda speaks to here is so important.
When we become aware of the meaning we are making, we create the opportunity to change it.
And when the meaning changes, everything downstream can begin to change too.

Mood.
Temperament.
Behaviour.
Even the way we come to know ourselves.

A simple idea with a huge impact.
